Let's Get Acquainted
This blog came about from thinking about my travel experiences. It is a place to talk about my various trips wonderful places and people that I experienced along the way. I have always loved hearing about others travel, and have used some of their information to plan my trips. It is my hope that this space can become a fun place for people interested in travel or other locations.
The world is a wonderful place, and sometimes you come across something unique. While I focus on Cruises, Rail Journeys, and Land Vacations, I will also include information on the travel process as well as History or information about special locations.
My background includes many personal and business travel adventures. I was an employee with Canadian Pacific Railway for 38 years. My work took me across Canada and the United States on multiple projects. My personal travel includes many Rail Passenger Trips, Cruises, and Family Travel.
As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community. You have an interest in travel, meeting new people, and experiencing new places. I hope for this to become a location for a free exchange of information and thoughts. I am looking forward to answering questions, and looking for input for my future trips.
